I met up with @priya_mareedu to shoot sunrise at Deception Pass. We agreed to be on the road by 3:30 AM, to make it in time for the hellishly early first light. Priya also sent me a shot of this rad-looking tree that we should shoot at. I popped up just after 5:00 AM, phone resting on my chest silently after cycling through all of my alarms. We arrived just after sunrise, and I chose a random trail that seemed to be going towards the last shred of decent light. This took up just about all of our time, and we were unable to find the tree we anted to shoot at. Moral of the story: I'm the best! Amazingly, The only thing Priya voiced any frustration over was my excessive apologizing.
